NBC has officially cancelled its freshman Jekyll/Hyde drama DO NO HARM, Entertainment Weekly has learned.

The Drama League will honor five-time Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald at The Drama League's 29th Annual Musical Celebration of Broadway, on February 11, 2013 at the famed Pierre Hotel (2 East 61st Street). Cygnet Theatre will continue its 10th Anniversary Season by presenting the San Diego Premiere of August Wilson's Gem of the Ocean. The first play, chronologically, in Wilson's epic Century Cycle, Gem of the Ocean is set to perform now through February 24th, 2013, at Cygnet's Old Town Theatre. Jujamcyn Theaters (Jordan Roth, President) and True Colors Theatre Company (Kenny Leon, Co-Founding Artistic Director) have announced the 5th Annual August Wilson Monologue Competition will take place on Monday, May 6th at 7:00 p.m. at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street). The event, which is free and open to the public, features high school students from Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Pittsburgh and Seattle performing monologues by the late, legendary American playwright.

San Francisco's African-American Shakespeare Company continues its 2012-13 season with Tennessee Williams's Pulitzer Prize-winning play CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF. African-American Shakespeare Company Artistic Director L. Peter Callender (A Raisin in the Sun, Twelfth Night) helms this scintillating interpretation of Williams's timeless play. On the pilot episode of DO NO HARM, set to air next Thursday, Jan. 31, renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Jason Cole (Steven Pasquale) has it all - including a dark secret. Every night at 8:25pm, Jason's body is overtaken by a dangerous alternate personality who goes by the name 'Ian Price' (also Steven Pasquale). For years, Jason has been able to restrain Ian with the help of an intense pharmaceutical cocktail - that is, until today. Now Ian is free and hell-bent on seeking revenge, which could jeopardize Jason's life, career, and budding romance with Dr. Lena Solis (Alana De La Garza). DO NO HARM kicks off its first season on Jan. 31 at 10 PM on NBC.

TVline reports exclusively that James Cromwell has joined the cast of the new NBC drama series DO NO HARM, premiering Thursday, January 31 at 10/9c. It had earlier been revealed that the actor would guest star on the show, but according to the report, he will now take on a 'pivotal role' in the thriller.
