Bay Area Cabaret, devoted to presenting audiences with top performers who expand the definition of cabaret, enters its 10th season this fall with a gala series at the Fairmont San Francisco's historic Venetian Room. To celebrate this significant milestone, Bay Area Cabaret presents a star-studded lineup of performers making their Bay Area Cabaret debuts, as well as the return of a few favorites from the past decade. Opening the season Saturday, September 21, 2013 with a bang is Broadway's Megan Hilty, known to millions as the powerhouse 'Bombshell' on NBC's television program Smash. The season continues October 20, 2013 with Tony nominee Norm Lewis (The Gershwin's Porgy and Bess) and November 10, 2013 with 'America's romantic piano sensation,' multi-platinum selling recording artist Jim Brickman, joined by special guest Broadway heartthrob David Burnham.

The Laguna Playhouse Executive and Artistic Directors, Karen Wood and Ann E. Wareham are delighted to present Davis Gaines (The Phantom of the Opera) and Vicki Lewis ('Newsradio') in I DO! I DO!, music and lyrics by Tom Jones, book by Harvey Schmidt and directed by Alan Souza. 'We are overjoyed to have Davis and Vicki bring this musical love letter to our audiences this Summer,' offers Wood. 'This is the perfect show for our subscribers and audiences to fall in love all over again with the Playhouse, and to have Davis and Vicki on our stage starts our new 'Season of Stars' off in spectacular fashion,' adds Wareham.

USA's newest original series GRACELAND, featuring Broadway veteran Aaron Tveit, will kick off the network's summer slate of original dramas, featuring SUITS, BURN NOTICE, ROYAL PAINS, COVERT AFFAIRS and NECESSARY ROUGHNESS. Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, written by Christopher Durang, today won the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award (NYDCC) for Best Play of the 2012-2013 season. Matilda received the award for Best Musical. The selections were made at the 78th annual voting meeting of the organization today at the offices of Time Out New York in Manhattan.

The "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue" ballet, originally choreographed by George Balanchine, will be staged by Susan Pilarre, who served as a Ballet Mistress of the show's 1983 Broadway Revival.

On the 'Breaking Dad' episode of WHITNEY, when Whitney's father comes for a visit and gives her $5,000, she believes he has finally changed for the better. Although Alex (Chris D'Elia) encourages her to use the money to rent an art gallery to display her photos, Whitney instead gives the money to Lily (Zoe Lister-Jones) who is desperately short on cash. Later, the money trail continues when Lily entrust Roxanne (Rhea Seehorn) to be the keeper of the $5000 but Roxanne proves to be ill prepared for the job. Dan O'Brien and Tone Bell also star. Whitney airs on NBC on Wednesday, February 20 at 8pm.
