Hampstead Theatre's Associate Company, The Mono Box, has announced the launch of The Monologue Library, audio recordings of renowned artists performing their favourite theatrical speeches.

The podcast is very simple. We take one Shakespeare play a week, invite on a guest, explore the play, and then we hopefully excite and inspire our listeners enough to go and read or watch it, where they can share thoughts and comments with each other on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Queen's Theatre Hornchurch opens its Spring 2020 season with a revival of Shakespeare's bloodiest thriller, Macbeth. The revival continues the Theatre's tradition of quality, classic drama and is directed by Douglas Rintoul, following his acclaimed productions of Much Ado About Nothing and UK tour of The Crucible. Most recently, Douglas has directed this Summer's highlight musical adaptation of As You Like It; a European premiere in partnership with the National Theatre. This co-production with Derby Theatre follows successful collaborations on Abigail's Party, Abi and One Man, Two Guvnors.

Sheffield Theatres today announces that Joel Gillman, who was playing the role of R.P. McMurphy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, has withdrawn from the production with immediate effect due to ill health. He will be replaced by Harry Egan, currently playing Aide Warren. Paul Tinto will join the company to take over the role of Aide Warren.

Rehearsals are underway at Sheffield Theatres for Artistic Director Robert Hastie's inaugural production, Julius Caesar (Wed 17 May - Sat 10 June). Folie a deux Productions and From Ground Up Theatre Company in association with Sheffield Theatres today announce the full cast for Kieran Knowles' Operation Crucible.

Commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Sheffield Blitz, and the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, Operation Crucible, the debut play by Kieran Knowles, opens for a four week limited season at the Finborough Theatre from Tuesday 28 July - Saturday 22 August.

Folie a deux Productions and From Ground Up Theatre Company in association with Neil McPherson for the Finborough Theatre present the world premiere of OPERATION CRUCIBLE by Kieran Knowles. Directed by Bryony Shanahan, the cast includes Salvatore D'Aquilla, Kieran Knowles, Joshua Mayes-Cooper, and Paul Tinto. The show runs Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17 December 2013

According to reports, West End's CHARIOTS OF FIRE has posted an early closing date of Saturday January 5, 2013 at the Gielgud Theatre. It was originally set to close on February 2.
