Some of the most powerful and emotionally moving voices in music come together to celebrate the holidays on "CMA Country Christmas," THURSDAY, DECEMBER 20 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) and repeating Saturday, December 22 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) and Sunday, December 23 (4:00-6:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland hosts for the third year. Artists on the two-hour special celebrating the season with songs and stories include Dierks Bentley, Colbie Caillat, Katherine Jenkins, Lady Antebellum, John Legend, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Scotty McCreery, Nettles, The Band Perry and Keith Urban.

United Solo, the world's largest solo theatre festival, concluded its third annual season with a closing ceremony held on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Theatre ROW on 42nd Street in New York City. Local and international performers, special guests, and festival team members gathered to celebrate the one hundred solo productions that were offered this fall.

PBS and Capital Concerts Present NATIONAL SALUTE TO VETERANS Today, 11/11

PBS and Capital Concerts announced the broadcast of the NATIONAL SALUTE TO VETERANS, airing on PBS tonight, November 11, 2012, at 8:00 p.m. ET, in honor of the service and sacrifice of our 22 million American veterans. Hosted by acclaimed actors Joe Mantegna ("Criminal Minds") and Gary Sinise ("CSI: New York"), the national television event celebrates the American heroes who have served throughout our country's history. The program will also be broadcast to our troops serving around the world on the American Forces Network.

Artistic Director Daniel Evans today unveils Sheffield Theatres' spring season for 2013, which includes two world premieres - Bull, a new play by Mike Bartlett, and This Is My Family, a new musical comedy by Tim Firth; major revivals of D.H. Lawrence's masterpiece The Daughter-in-Law and Alan Bennett's The History Boys, and Sheffield People's Theatre present their second production, 20 Tiny Plays about Sheffield. Full casting for My Fair Lady, the Crucible Christmas musical is also announced today.

Met Museum Artist in Residence DJ Spooky to Screen MADAME FREEDOM with Talk & Live Performance of Score, 10/24 & 26

The first public event of The Met Reframed, the new Metropolitan Museum artist residency that in the 2012-13 season features Paul D. Miller aka DJ Spooky, is a screening of the classic 1956 Korean film Madame Freedom accompanied by a live performance-by violinist Jennifer Kim and cellist Danielle Cho, with electronic music-of an original score created in 2007 by Miller, on Friday, October 26, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in the Met's Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium. The event will also be livestreamed over the Museum's website (www.metmuseum.org).
