Gingold Theatrical Group (David Staller, Artistic Director) held the 2018 Golden Shamrock Gala on Saturday, March 17 at 3 West Club (3 West 51st Street), and honored actress and activist Martha Plimpton and actor, producer, and long-time Executive Director of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Tom Viola. This year's gala was geared toward raising funds for GTG's full production of Shaw's masterpiece, Heartbreak House, which will run in New York's Theatre Row on 42nd Street from August 28 through September 29th.

Paper Mill Playhouse, recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award is currently presenting the hit Broadway musical Mary Poppins based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the Walt Disney Film with original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, book by Julian Fellowes, new songs and additional music and lyrics byGeorge Stiles and Anthony Drewe, and co-created by Cameron Mackintosh. Paper Mill Playhouse, recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, presents the smash hit musical Million Dollar Quartet with book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux, original concept by Mr. Mutrux, inspired by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins.

The Cote Saint-Luc Dramatic Society is heading back to the Segal Centre with a production of Fancy Nancy The Musical with book and lyrics by Susan DiLallo and music and lyrics by Danny Abosch. Based on the best-selling children's book of the same name, Fancy Nancy The Musical had an acclaimed Off-Broadway run from 2012-2014, and is currently touring the United States. The Montreal premiere will be playing on the Segal Mainstage from February 26 to March 5, 2017 and is perfect for girls and boys as young as three years old.

Due to popular demand, the Segal Centre is thrilled to announce that three performances have been added to the world premiere production of Prom Queen: The Musical. Produced by Mary Young Leckie and the Segal Centre, Prom Queen: The Musical tells the inspiring, true story of Marc Hall, the Ontario teenager who took his Catholic School Board to court when they refused to let him attend prom with his boyfriend. This new, award-winning Canadian musical directed by Marcia Kash, written by Kent Staines, with lyrics by Akiva Romer-Segal and music by Colleen Dauncey will now run on the Segal Stage until November 23, 2016.

Following the success of their past original productions, the Segal Centre for Performing Arts is proud to present the World Premiere of a new Canadian musical inspired by the incredible, true story of Marc Hall, the Ontario teenager who took his Catholic School Board to court when they refused to let him attend prom with his boyfriend. A refreshingly fun and heartfelt story about a community coming together and being true to yourself, Prom Queen: The Musical will premiere at the Segal from October 27 to November 20, 2016.
