Con Vivo Music will present the world premiere of Chilltown Boogie by Alon Nechushtan on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 12:30pm, beginning at J Owen Grundy Pier. This original new opera is inspired by the events surrounding the formation of Hudson County and Jersey City.

Conducted by Professor Emeritus Richard Lowenthal, this free concert features trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and vocalists Allan Harris and Antoinette Montague.

Kick off your fall weekends on the Jersey City waterfront with some fiery Latin music! Riverview Jazz and Exchange Place Alliance have partnered to bring this exciting free series to the J. Owen Grundy Pier at Exchange Place. The four-part Friday evening series will feature world-class music, food trucks, and cold beer provided by Lutze Biergarten. Each PierFest event begins at 6pm and will present two bands.

Enjoy food trucks, children's activities, a record riot, local vendors, and hundreds of professional musicians throughout the week. The sixth annual Riverview Jazz Festival will feature over 40 events, capped by two outdoor festival events June 1st and 9th.

Acclaimed trumpeter Jon Faddis will perform as a special guest with the NJCU Alumni Jazz Big Band in Six Decades of Jazz at NJCU, a free concert series launched in celebration of the inauguration of Dr. Sue Henderson as New Jersey City University's 12thpresident. The concert will take place at the J. Owen Grundy Pier, Exchange Place in Jersey City on Friday, September 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
