On November 9th, 2006, the opening night of Broadway's Les Miserables, BroadwayWorld introduced the artwork of Christine Jimenez. Recently, the talented artist created more caricatures and portraits of Les Miz stars in honor of the show's 25th Anniversary, and is one again pleased to share them with BWW readers.

Broadway headliners are coming in droves to record the 2010 Broadway's Carols for a Cure, the annual holiday CD benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA). Featured voices include Bernadette Peters and the cast and orchestra from A Little Night Music, Kelsey Grammer, Douglas Hodge, Christine Andreas and the cast of Tony Award winning La Cage aux Folles; Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley, from Next to Normal; plus the casts from Memphis, Wicked, Elf, and In the Heights. Jackie Hoffman and the cast of The Addams Family sing 'It's Chanukah,' a Jackie Hoffman/Lon Hoyt original song written during their time together at Hairspray.

The upcoming 25th Anniversary concert of Les Miserables, will be broadcast via satellite around the world. On October 3rd, O2 concert will be shown in movie theatres in Ireland, Denmark, Norway and Germany. As previously reported, the concert will star Ramin Karmiloo, Samantha Barks, Alfie Boe, Nick Jonas, Norm Lewis, Matt Lucas, Lea Salonga, Jenny Galloway, and Camilla Kerslake.

Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato will rock the summer in 'Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam,' a full out rock 'n roll musical that celebrates music, dance and the freedom of summer and reminds viewers to 'enjoy the journey.' Part of the blockbuster Disney Channel Original Movie franchise that introduced a generation to contemporary movie musicals, 'Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam' premieres FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Tony award-winning actress Lea Salonga had tripped and sprained her ankle as she was heading to her first stage entrance during the technical and dress rehearsal for the Philippine premiere of the musical 'Cats: Now and Forever' Thursday at the Nicanor Abelardo Theatre of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) . Ms. Salonga, who dons Grizabella's scruffy costume, and the Australian touring cast and crew of the T.S. Eliot/Andrew Lloyd Webber musical officially open 'Cats' Manila run Saturday, July 24, 2010.

The fun for kids, tweens and families begins FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 and goes through MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT, each night) on Disney Channel. An extended edition of the movie, featuring two exclusive new music numbers, will be available on Disney Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on Tuesday, September 7.

Star of Love Never Dies joins Nick Jonas in the line-up for the 25th anniversary show

As BroadwayWorld has reported, producer Cameron Mackintosh will present a 25th Anniversary production of LES MISERABLES this fall. Together with the current production at the Queen's Theatre in the West End and a 25th Anniversary concert of the show in the works, this new production - which will play the Barbican Theatre - will mark the first time 3 renditions of the same show has run simultaneously in the UK. The 25th Anniversary production will tour the US beginning this fall.

The next wave of nominees has been announced for Teen Choice 2010 airing Monday, Aug. 9 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. New categories include Choice Movie Scene Stealer, Choice Celebrity Fashion Line, Choice Web Star, Choice Smile, Choice American Idol Alum, Choice Country Song, and Choice Country Album. 'Glee' and 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' lead the second wave of Teen Choice 2010 nominees with 9 nominations each.
