The critically acclaimed Brits Off Broadway festival, host to the UK's most innovative and provocative theater in New York City, returns this year with a line up of seven productions. Presented by 59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer), Brits Off Broadway launches on Tuesday, November 3 and runs through Sunday, January 3.

ENRON And SPRING AWAKENING Garner U.K.'s TMA Nominations

The U.K.'s Theatrical Management Award (TMA) nominees have been announced and receiving top nods include Lucy Prebble's Enron, currently playing at London's Royal Court before it opens at the West End's Noel Coward Theatre in January 2010 and on Broadway in April, and the familiar Broadway favorite Spring Awakening. The awards ceremony will be hosted by Nichola McAuliffe at Lyric Hammersmith on Nov. 1.

Raymond Gubbay will present the Carl Rosa Opera Company, currently celebrating its 10th anniversary, in the return of Gilbert & Sullivan to the West End for a limited five-week season at the Gielgud Theatre from January 30 - March 1, 2008. There will be special guest performances from Jo Brand, Nichola McAuliffe and Alistair McGowan.
