The Toxic Avenger, based on Lloyd Kaufman's character and film by the same name and winner of the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical, returned to New York City on Monday night for a special one-night-only concert reunion at 54 Below. Following a critically acclaimed run at The Alley Theatre in Houston, TX, the quirky musical about a New Jersey based radioactive mutant superhero may have its sights set on Broadway.

The undie-rock comedy-pop duo of Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley (The Skivvies) have a monthly residency at 42West (514 West 42nd Stree), which features an all-star line up of guest artists from the worlds of Broadway, Television and Film. This exciting evening of magic, music and performance will be a collaborative effort of some of New York's most talented performer's that includes an interactive pre-show with performances by MIX'T DANCE, a concert benefiting the organization and Michele Mais (Rock of Ages) with the Rock of Ages Band: ARSENAL, and an post-performance concert by The Annie Minogue Band, (National Artist of the year by LA Music Awards).
