The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts is gearing up for one of its biggest seasons of comedy, as an array of renowned comedians and productions come to its stages.

HOT MESS, a romantic comedy by Dan Rothenberg (Suburban Boy; Regretrosexual) and Colleen Crabtree (The Tragic and Horrible Life of the Singing Nun, The Groundlings), and directed by Jonathan Silverstein (tick, tick...BOOM; John & Jen; The Temperamentals), will play The Jerry Orbach Theater at The Theater Center (1627 Broadway at 50th Street) beginning November 7th and opening on November 16th, it was announced today by producers Jay Alix and Una Jackman.

The Barrow Group Theatre Company (Seth Barrish and Lee Brock, Co-Artistic Directors; Robert Serrell, Executive Director), recipient of the Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Award, will present a one-night only special benefit performance of the Obie Award-winning solo play The Tricky Part, written and performed by Martin Moran and directed by Seth Barrish on Monday evening, October 16, 2017 at TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor).

Berkeley Repertory Theatre announced today that, due to sold out shows in the first two weeks, Mike Birbiglia: The New One will extend a fourth and final week. The show will now run for an extra eight performances through Sunday, August 27.
