MATILDA THE MUSICAL has been named a three-time winner in the 34th Annual Telly Awards for its pre-opening television campaign, created by advertising agency AKA. The television spot, which previews the sound, color, and attitude of one of the season's most highly anticipated musicals, was recognized for excellence in Entertainment, Art Direction and Use of Music. The supernatural power of love is taking the U.S. by storm as the new Broadway and West End musical Ghost The Musical, adapted from the Academy Award-winning film, launches its first national tour in Schenectady, NY, at Proctors Theater.

The show has just announced its rush policy effective immediately: $27 student rush tickets for MATILDA THE MUSICAL will be available for Monday through Thursday performances (excluding Thursday, March 28 and Thursday, April 11, 2013). There will be a minimum of 20 tickets available per performance.

According to the Telegraph, the West End hit musical version of Roald Dahl's Matilda is undergoing some last-minute changes before it opens on Broadway in April. After several previews, some of the lyrics are being revised for American audiences.

Full casting has been announced for the UK Tour of GHOST THE MUSICAL, beginning at the Wales Millennium Center, Cardiff, in April.
