Written by Douglas Anderson and directed by Karen Lund, The Beams are Creaking opens on March 25 and runs through April 23, with previews on March 23 and 24.

Seattle's Intiman Theatre presents it's latest installment to it's American Cycle series, "Abe Lincoln in Illinois" by Robert E. Sherwood. The play, while being a little long winded at times, gives us an interesting look at one of our countries greatest figures before he became President. A man who most of us only know from what little we learned in school.

Sherwood?s play Abe Lincoln in Illinois. Actors Erik Lochtefeld and R. Hamilton Wright will take a night off from rehearsal to read the words of Abraham Lincoln and Stephen A. Douglas, the characters they will play in Intiman?s forthcoming production.
