Mary-Elaine Jenkins is excited to announce her debut album Hold Still, due September 28, 2018 via Good Child Music. To ring in the announcement, Mary-Jane has shared new track 'The Americans' in a premiere via Glide Magazine, who called the track 'a nugget of bluesy aching soul that showcases a throaty wail, standing righteously above other young pretenders.' The Keegan Theatre kicks off its 21st season with Marie Jones' wicked tragicomedy Stones in His Pockets, directed by Abigail Isaac Fine and starring Keegan company members and audience favorites Matthew J. Keenan and Josh Sticklin. Adventure Stage Chicago (ASC) has announced the appointment of Mary Kate Barley-Jenkins as Managing Director. Ms. Barley-Jenkins comes to ASC from the Chicago Humanities Festival, where she served as the Managing Director of Programming and Production. At the CHF, she produced two diverse festivals and year-round humanities and educational programming (150+ events), serving an audience of 55,000 and an online audience of 200,000. She also conceived and was the Artistic Director of Stages, Sights and Sounds, CHF's international performing arts festival for young audiences, which each year reaches thousands of youth and families.

As the Broadway production of Mary Poppins comes to a close, we asked current and original principle cast members, as well as current cast members who have been with the show since day one, to share with us some memories and tell us what being a part of the magic has meant to them. The Keegan Theatre announces a new addition to its previously released 2010-2011 season, the company's fourteenth season and second year as full-time residents at Church Street Theater in Dupont Circle.

On Saturday, October 10, HUMAN ANIMALS celebrated the opening of its inaugural production - the World Premiere of middlemen, an existential office comedy concerning adulthood, non-dairy creamer, and the collapse of the American workplace. Written by David Jenkins and directed by Josie Whittlesey, performances began at Walkerspace (46 Walker Street) on Friday, October 9th, 2009. The production is currently playing at Walkerspace through October 30.

This week we talk to Daniel Jenkins who plays George Banks in 'Mary Poppins.' Not only does he talk about 'Mary Poppins' but we also hear his performances of 'Leavin's Not the Only Way to Go' from 'Big River' and 'Coffee, Black' from 'Big.'
