The Public Theater presents the world premiere of February House, with music and lyrics by Gabriel Kahane and book by Seth Bockley, now through June 10th. Three stars of the show - composer and lyricist Gabriel Kahane, actress Kacie Sheik, and actor Julian Fleisher have all been tapped by Joe's Pub at The Public Theater for solo performances this month, beginning tonight, June 4.

The Drama Desk Awards previously announced the lineup of presenters for this year's awards ceremony, hosted by Brooke Shields and Drama Desk winner Brian d'Arcy James. The presenters represent many different aspects of the New York theater community including Broadway royalty: Angela Lansbury, James Earl Jones, Bernadette Peters; award winning dramatists: Doug Wright and Rick Elice; legendary composers: Maury Yeston, William Finn; heralded directors: Roger Rees, Alex Timbers; celebrated designers: Peggy Eisenhauer; revered orchestrators: Jonathan Tunick; valued members of the New York theater scene: Oskar Eustis, Jenny Gersten; and, of course, popular performers: Martha Plimpton, John Larroquette, Julie Halston. The past couple of days have been full of announcements about 2012 television pickups. In addition to the return of SMASH in January 2013, NBC's upcoming fall line-up will include new shows GO ON, starring Broadway's Laura Benanti and THE NEW NORMAL, starring THE BOOK OF MORMON's Andrew Rannells. GLEE will of course be back on FOX, but next season on Thursday nights!

Like Clockwork: The 52nd Street Project's Party Time Benefit is set for this Monday, May 7, hosted by Tony Award nominee Bobby Cannavale at Ars Nova. The benefit will feature songs with lyrics by Project kids, set to music and performed by professional artists.
