Image Entertainment, an RLJ Entertainment (NASDAQ: RLJE) brand, acquires Worldview Entertainment's crime thriller DEVIL'S KNOT following its world premiere at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.

On Opening Night, Wednesday, November 13, the Napa Valley Film Festival will present August: Osage County, based on the award winning play, and directed by John Wells, one of the most prolific writers, directors and producers for television, film and stage. The film stars the legendary Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts, as part of a dysfunctional family returning to their home in Oklahoma.

The CW Television Network has partnered with the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) to broadcast the 19th annual “Critics' Choice Movie Awards” for the second consecutive year, and also the 4th annual “Critics' Choice Television Awards” in 2014, it was announced today by Joey Berlin, BFCA/BTJA President and John Maatta, Executive Vice President, The CW.

Deadline reports that Marion Cotillard has signed on to play the role of Lady Macbeth in Justin Kurzel's MACBETH. The Academy Award-winning actress may star opposite Michael Fassbender who is reportedly taking on the title role.

Public Theater Artistic Director Oskar Eustis, Executive Director Patrick Willingham, and Chairman of the Board Warren Spector have announced the addition of seven new members to The Public's Board of Trustees.
