THE ORPHANS' HOME CYCLE, PART 3: THE STORY OF A FAMILY begins performances tomorrow, Thursday, January 7 at Signature Theatre Company at the Peter Norton Space, 555 West 42nd Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues. The production will open on Tuesday, January 26.

Two-time Emmy Award-winning comedy writer Rachel Axler will make her off Broadway playwriting debut at the NEA-rejected Women's Project with Smudge, a dark comedy directed by Pam MacKinnon about the changing face of the American family and the limits of love and cheesecake. Smudge features Cassie Beck, Greg Keller and Brian Sgambati.

The Pulitzer Prize and Obie Award-winning Theatre for the New City (TNC) will hold its 7th Annual LOVE 'N' COURAGE Gala on Monday, February 22nd at the National Arts Club, this year honoring the beloved acting couple Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson, as well as Martha Coigney, director of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) in the U.S. for over 35 years, it has been announced by Crystal Field, co-founder and artistic director of Theater for the City. The LOVE 'N' COURAGE celebration will begin with cocktails at 6:30pm, Dinner at 7:00pm, and performances at 8:00pm.

American Theater Company (ATC) continues its 25th anniversary season with the Chicago premiere of Distracted, written by Lisa Loomer. The production is directed by Artistic Director PJ Paparelli and will run January 28 - February 28, 2010 at American Theater Company, 1909 W. Byron Street, Chicago.
