The Segal Centre for Performing Arts and Copa de Oro Productions are pleased to announce the casting for their upcoming co-production of the Tony Award-winning musical, Ain't Misbehavin, The Fats Waller Musical, presented September 29th to October 20th, 2013 in the Segal Theatre.

City Winery Chicago, one of the city's newest music venues and philanthropic supporter of music education, will host and sponsor a special concert to benefit its West Loop neighbor, Merit School of Music. Tonight, June 24 The Three Ellas, a veteran female vocal jazz trio, and 11-year-old newcomer Mae Ya Carter Ryan, will perform a brilliant jazz repertoire. All net proceeds from the event will subsidize Merit's music education programs.

Tonight, June 22, 2013, SummerStage will present 'Make a Joyful Noise' - A Tribute to Mahalia Jackson , featuring JOSHUA NELSON, the 'Prince of Kosher Gospel', with special guest Della Reese. Plus a full-length screening of 'Mahalia Jackson: The Power and the Glory', in association with ImageNation Cinema Foundation. The FREE show will be held at Central Park, Manhattan. Zebra is a Hard rock band founded in 1975 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Hit singles 'Tell Me What You Want' and 'Who's Behind The Door'. It features Randy Jackson (guitar and vocals), Felix Hanemann (bass, keyboards and vocals) and Guy Gelso (drums and vocals). Their mainstream debut on Atlantic Records was in 1983 with their eponymous album, highlighted by the singles 'Tell Me What You Want' and 'Who's Behind The Door'. The four came together for one night only at Sun Records in Memphis, TN on December 4, 1956, and the show gives audiences an inside look on what could be considered the greatest "jam session" of all time. Audiences can expect to hear popular hits such as 'Blue Suede Shoes,' 'Hound Dog,' and 'I Walk the Line' along with 'Great Balls of Fire,' 'Fever,' and 'Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On.'
