New York City Center celebrated the 20th Anniversary of its Tony Award-winning Encores! series on November 12 with a Gala Benefit starring Raul Esparza and Kelli O'Hara, and featuring performers who have starred in Encores!productions over the past two decades. Vital Theatre Company has announced that its long-running production of Pinkalicious, The Musical will play its final performance at the Culture Project (formerly Bleecker St Theatre) on Sunday, November 11th at noon. The production will continue performances at the new Hamilton Stage for the Performing Arts in Rahway, New Jersey on November 17th at 1 pm and November 18th at 11 am, then will appear on tour in South Orange, NJ; Easton, PA; Lakewood, NJ; Red Bank, NJ; Sandusky, OH; and New Albany, OH before it will return to its new home at the Riverside Theatre in February of 2013.

George Street Playhouse Artistic Director David Saint announced today that the theatre has postponed their scheduled production of Clever Little Lies, penned by Tony Award-winning playwright Joe DiPietro, which was to star award-winning actress Marlo Thomas. Mark St. Germain's critically-acclaimed play The Best of Enemies, originally produced by Barrington Stage Company, will take its place in the New Brunswick theatre's season, running November 29 - December 23.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) has selected Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham as the 2012 recipient of The William Shakespeare Award for Classical Theatre(Will Award). Abraham will be honored at the Harman Center for the Arts Annual Gala hosted by STC at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) on Monday, October 15, 2012. This year's Gala will be inspired by Shakespeare's great characters.

Vital Theatre Company has announced the extension of Pinkalicious, The Musical at The Culture Project (formerly Bleecker St Theatre) due to popular demand. Tickets are now on sale through February 24th, 2013. Performances are Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm through September 23rd; beginning September 29th, performances are every Saturday at 1:30 pm and every Sunday at 12 noon.

Culture Project (Allan Buchman, Founder & Artistic Director), celebrates its return to the theaters at 45 Bleecker Street with the award-winning 10th anniversary production of the hit play, The Exonerated, written by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen, presented in special association with The Innocence Project, Directed by Bob Balaban (Gosford Park), the rotating cast will feature Stockard Channing, Brian Dennehy, John Forte, and Brooke Shields. Exoneree Sunny Jacobs, whose story is shared within the play, joins the cast for one-week, September 25 - 30. Additional casting will be announced shortly.
