Stand-Up Month comes to a hilarious close when Al Madrigal debuts his first Comedy Central one-hour stand-up special, Al Madrigal: Why Is The Rabbit Crying?, on Friday, April 26 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT. The special finds the celebrated stand-up comedian, The Daily Show correspondent, and LA family man bringing his unstoppable storytelling style to The Moody Theater in Austin, telling the hilarious true tales of Coach Frankie, the Cholo soccer dad; a fun afternoon with 'Liam Neeson,' the cleaning lady; and the joys of parenting.

The Drama League has just announced that Patina Miller and Michael Urie will co-host the announcement of the 2013 Drama League Nominees for Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much coveted Distinguished Performance Award set for Tuesday morning, April 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sardi's. Columbia Stages will present NEW PLAYS NOW, the annual festival of new plays by emerging artists from the MFA Theatre Program at Columbia University School of the Arts. NEW PLAYS NOW will run from tonight, April 17 to May 11 and will feature original works by Paulina Barros, Keith Boynton, Talya Chalef, Angelica Cheri, Pei-Chieh Chiang, Paola Lazaro Muñoz, Alessandra Most, Christina Quintana, Torrey Townsend, and Zhao Binghao.

The Drama League has just announced that Tony and Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce will host The 79th Annual Drama League Awards. The Awards Luncheon will be held Friday afternoon, May 17th at the Marriott Marquis Times Square (1535 Broadway) at noon.

According to the New York Times, Shakespeare's classic romatic tradgedy Romeo and Juliet is coming back to Broadway this summer. Helmed by David Leveaux, the production will star Tony nominee Condola Rashad and Orlando Bloom- making his Broadway debut in the role. Joining them in the play, which is set to open on September 19 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, will be Jayne Houdyshell as the Nurse and Joe Morton as Lord Capulet.

True Blood has found its newest addition to its well-known vampire clan. Luke Grimes has officially been tapped for a five-episode arc on HBO's hit Supernatural series, according to Deadline. Should True Blood be picked up for a seventh season, Grimes will reportedly have the option to be bumped up to a series regular.

Culture Project will rename their mainstage theatre, currently known as 45 Bleecker Street, the Lynn Redgrave Theatre this June. The announcement was made onstage by Mr. Buchman during the opening night curtain call for Culture Project's current production of Shaheed: The Dream and Death of Benazir Bhutto. A naming ceremony and commemorative gala in honor of the late Ms. Redgrave will take place on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Stage 48 (605 West 48th Street, New York City). Honorary Chairs for the evening are Vanessa Redgrave, Liam Neeson, and Ms. Redgrave's three children Annabel Clark, Ben Clark, and Pema Clark.
