Vineyard Theatre's (108 E. 15 St.) world-premiere production of Christopher Shinn's play PICKED will close on May 22.

Created by Hunter Bell, Susan Blackwell and Jeff Bowen, the show will be given a Developmental Lab Production by the Vineyard Theatre from 4 to 19 June 2011.

Singer-songwriter Phoebe Snow passed away from complications from a stroke that she suffered last year. She was 60 years old.

Both singers trained in legit musical theatre styles and Pop & Rock singers who are venturing into musical theatre now have a definitive guide on how to approach auditioning musicals that specifically ask for Pop, Rock, Motown, Disco, R&B, Folk and Gospel styles.

Mark Blum, Michael Stahl-David, Donna Hanover, Tom Lipinski and Liz Stauber will comprise the cast of Christopher Shinn's play PICKED -- being given its world-premiere production by the Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St.), with previews starting April 6 prior to its official opening night on April 20 -- it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, the Vineyard's artistic director. Michael Wilson will direct.
