Next Friday, September 12 marks the start of performances for the new stage drama STALKING THE BOGEYMAN at New World Stages (340 W. 50th St.). The play's official Opening Night is set for Monday, September 29 at 8 p.m. (new curtain time).

Casting is now complete for the Off-Broadway premiere of the new stage drama STALKING THE BOGEYMAN at New World Stages (340 W. 50th St.). Preview performances are set to begin on Friday, September 12, with an official Opening Night on Monday, September 29 (7 p.m.).

Just last week was the second of three performances of 'Villain: DeBlanks' benefitting BC/EFA. Written by Billy Mitchell, 'Villain: DeBlanks' is a late-night fundraiser where the cast needs the audience as much as the audience loves the cast. The company featured Jennifer Cody, Adam Feldman, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Hugh Hysell, Hedda Lettuce, and Christine Pedi, with Heather Shisler.

Last night 'Villain: DeBlanks' made its New York debut at 54 Below, and the photos say it all. Beginning the night collecting words from the audience, and then reading the resulting script - unedited and unrehearsed - the uproarious first night cast included Bobby Cronin, Bernard Dotson, Barrett Foa, Lesli Margherita, Nancy Opel, Ryann Redmond, and Heather Shisler. After making headlines across the country in 2011, David Holthouse's true story is now the subject of the new Off-Broadway drama STALKING THE BOGEYMAN, set to begin performances at New World Stages this September.

This week, Jay Productions LTD released the original cast album of Jonathan Brielle's critically acclaimed musical 'Himself and Nora' about the tumultuous romance of famed writer James Joyce and his muse, lover and most ardent supporter, chambermaid Nora Barnacle. After it's success at the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival in July, 2012 at The Theater at St. Clements, Michael Bush's critically production was then presented last season at Hamilton Stage in Rahway, New Jersey.

The sister program to the company's FRESH ART festival the weekend before, The CANNED Art weekend showcases work Fordham Alumni have finished creating, saved for prosperity in the can. A variety of feature length and short films, documentaries, as well as web-series and sketches will be shown. All screenings will be presented at the Wild Project (195 E. 3rd St., NYC). Admission is $5 per film. In addition, audience members can purchase a $12 “RamPass” to see 3 or more films. To purchase tickets in advance visit www.thewildproject.com.
