The Actors Fund presents a very special Musical Monday, an evening with five grand ladies of musical theatre in LADIES OF AN INDETERMINATE AGE on December 10, 2012. Anne Jeffreys, Jane Kean, Pat Marshall, Patricia Morison and Charlotte Rae - join together on the same stage to sing songs from their careers, talk about their co-stars, directors and composers and stray into their wicked (or not-so-wicked) adventures in the great tradition of "No Business Like Show Business."

The Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour 55th Anniversary Celebration makes its way to Segerstrom Center for the Arts on January 13 in the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. The all- star ensemble will perform classic jazz and original compositions by critically acclaimed, Grammy Award-winning artists: bassist and musical director Christian McBride, vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater, saxophonist Chris Potter, trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire, pianist Benny Green and drummer Lewis Nash.

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) SuperPops and baritone Daniel Narducci, star of stage and screen, will be ringing in the holiday season at the Music Center at Strathmore on Wednesday, December 12 at 8 p.m. and at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall on Thursday, December 13 at 2 p.m., Friday December 14 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Saturday December 15 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday December 16 2102 at 2 p.m. Under the direction of conductor Robert Bernhardt, this Holiday Pops Celebration will feature the Baltimore Choral Arts Society and the Anacrusis Handbell Ensemble in a program of carols, classic holiday favorites, sing-alongs and even a special guest from the North Pole. New York City Center celebrated the 20th Anniversary of its Tony Award-winning Encores! series on November 12 with a Gala Benefit starring Raul Esparza and Kelli O'Hara, and featuring performers who have starred in Encores!productions over the past two decades. United Solo Theatre Festival presents One Night With You, performed by Leandra Ramm. Starring in a new Lifetime series 'My Life is a Lifetime Movie' and with her new book 'Stalking a Diva' due out this fall, Leandra Ramm tells her amazing life story in an unforgettable one night engagement. The show focuses on the chilling cyber stalking experience that left her feeling imprisoned and helpless without protection from the U.S. legal system. Despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Leandra's perserverance and determination led her to eventually win her legal case. Begining with her unique origins from ' The Genius Sperm Bank', followed by her world traveling adventures, Leandra's life has been nothing short of exciting. One Night With You was written by Dagmar Spain and will be directed by Andrew Lonsdale.

Pacific Symphony welcomes the illustrious German chanteuse, Ute Lemper, for 'Come to the Cabaret,' a revival of the seductive and sophisticated music that was heard in intimate, smoke-filled nightclubs across Germany, France and America during the 1920s and '30s. The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director), following the recent successful five month run of Closer Than Ever, continues the celebration with a one-night only performance of the hit Off-Broadway musical revue, Starting Here, Starting Now, with lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr. and music by David Shire, on Sunday evening, December 2, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Shana Farr, who last month won The Mabel Mercer Foundation's 2012 Julie Wilson Award as "a cabaret singer who is a rising star," has just completed her debut CD, titled Shana Farr: Out Of The Shadows , which will be introduced at a CD release party and performance at The Players Club, 16 Gramercy Park South, in New York City on Friday, November 30, at 9 PM. Ms. Farr is backed by a trio comprised of Music Director Jon Weber (piano), Adam Fisher (cello) and Dan Levinson (clarinet).

Following the success of the International Festival Lounge during this year's San Francisco International Arts Festival, the organization has decided to expand on the concept by hosting a series of performance cabarets as a part of its 10th Anniversary Season.

Proving that class is indeed a rare commodity these days, this lady, who co-starred on Broadway with Sergio Franchi in Nine, presented a marvelously varied bill of fare which highlighted songs from Amanda McBroom, Randy Newman, Stephen Sondheim, Kurt Weill, Jacques Brel and by the evening's musical director, renowned composer Michele Brourman - by no means your typical evening of predictable songs. Apart from having an exquisite soprano voice, Barnett is down-to-earth, warm and very funny.
