The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), presented in association with TBS, today announced the lineup of comedians bringing laughter to New York November 7 - 12 when the festival takes over some of the city's most prestigious venues. Over 200 comedians are set to perform over the six-day festival, including Conan O'Brien, Samantha Bee, Bill Maher, and Nick Offerman.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and TV One, a television network dedicated to the best of black culture and entertainment, today announced that the 49th NAACP Image Awards will be nationally telecast live on TV One on Monday, January 15, 2018, the federal holiday marking the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  The two-hour special will also include a live pre-show from the star-studded red carpet.

Breakout star of the #1 comedy movie Girls Trip, Tiffany Haddish brings her extremely popular stand-up comedy to the Capitol Theatre on Friday, September 1 at 7 pm. Tickets go on sale Saturday, August 5 at 10 am. This show is for mature audiences.

Russell Simmons returns to HBO later this year for the all-new stand-up series ALL DEF COMEDY, kicking off its six-show season in December. The show continues the longstanding relationship between the network and Simmons, who launched the careers of a host of today's comedy superstars in the '90s with the original HBO series “Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam.”

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents an evening of outrageous, contemporary stand-up with some of the funniest new performers on the scene: BET star Gary Owen (House of Payne, Think Like a Man), Deon Cole (of ABC's Black-ish), Talent (KISS-FM's Morning Show) and Smokey Suarez (Paper Soldiers).

TRAVIS WALL and Break The Floor Productions are pleased to announce additional dates in the 2017 - 2018 national tour of After The Curtain-  the new show by America's hottest dance company, Travis Wall's SHAPING SOUND. After The Curtain will play at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center on Friday, October 27 at 7:30 p.m.

BET Networks announced today that R&B's brightest stars Mary J. Blige, Maxwell, El Debarge, and in their first-ever BET Awards performance, Xscape, along with some of hip hop's hottest talent including A$AP Rocky, French Montana, Gucci Mane, Swae Lee, Khalid and SZA, and musician Kamasi Washington will perform at the 'BET Awards 17'.
