Gloriae Dei Cantores, the internationally acclaimed choir from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, continues its 2013 25th Anniversary Celebration - a series of concerts illuminating choral treasures from rich cultural traditions around the globe - with concerts on Friday and Saturday, July 12 and 13 at the Church of the Transfiguration, Orleans. The choir will perform Mozart's stunning Mass in C Minor and Gabriel Faure's ethereal Requiem.
Deer Valley Music Festival to Kick Off with 1812 Overture, 6/29

The Deer Valley Music Festival, summer home of Utah Symphony | Utah Opera, is celebrating ten years of music in the mountains with a festival lineup that highlights the diversity of the orchestra and its audience. The 2013 Festival features seventeen performances from June 29 to August 10 at venues in Park City, Utah, including ten performances at Deer Valley Resort's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheatre which was recently highlighted by CNN as one of eight 'amazing' outdoor concert venues. The first three Festival events will take place on June 29, July 5 and July 6.

The 2013 Boston Pops season, May 8-June 15, under the direction of Keith Lockhart, will present a season-long tribute to the world of movie music, along with programs featuring a wide variety of American musical styles, including jazz, bluegrass, country, gospel, pop, classic standards from the 50s and 60s, and show-stopping songs of Broadway and the American Songbook. For the programs focusing on the season theme, 'Best of Hollywood Film Music,' audiences will hear their favorite music from classic movies and today's popular soundtracks performed live by the Boston Pops, while the accompanying movie clips are projected onto a giant screen suspended above the orchestra.
