Neiman Marcus Group LTD LLC announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire the mytheresa.com global online luxury business from Christoph and Susanne Botschen and Acton Capital Partners. In addition, NMG will also be acquiring the THERESA flagship luxury fashion store in Munich from the Botschen family. The transaction is expected to close later this year, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.

It's official: Neiman Marcus Group will open a flagship store on Manhattan's flourishing west side at Hudson Yards. The 250,000 square foot, multi-level store is scheduled to open in 2018 and marks the first for the brand in New York City. The landmark announcement is a signature element of the company's entrance and expansion into New York, which includes a multi-million dollar comprehensive modernization of Bergdorf Goodman, a Neiman Marcus store on Long Island and a Last Call Studio Store in Brooklyn.

The award, instituted in 1938 by Stanley Marcus, was developed to bring emerging designers from Europe and America into public awareness. The award is given to those who have made a distinctive contribution to the world of fashion by designing, promoting, or wearing fashion in a way that influences the public.

Neiman Marcus announced the launch of The Heart of Neiman Marcus program in conjunction with the launch of The Ken Downing Gift Collection.

Neiman Marcus announced that it has realigned the bulk of its annual multimillion-dollar fund for charity. The luxury retailer created a new namesake nonprofit to support arts education for youth.
