Additional casting has been announced for the new Broadway production of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's beloved Oscar and Tony Award-winning film and stage musical, Gigi. Joining the previously announced Vanessa Hudgens in the title role will be two-time Tony Award-nominee Howard McGillin (The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Anything Goes, The Phantom of the Opera) as Honore Lachaille, Corey Cott (Newsies) as Gaston Lachaille and Steffanie Leigh(Mary Poppins) as Liane d'Exelmans. Casting for the roles of Madame Alvarez and Aunt Alicia will be announced soon.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced complete casting for its world premiere musical production of Little Dancer. The musical features book and lyrics by Tony Award winner Lynn Ahrens, music by Tony Award winner Stephen Flaherty, and direction and choreography by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman. The Kennedy Center just released a photo of Tiler Peck in the title role of Little Dancer and you can check it out below! The costuming and pose reflect that of Edgar Degas' masterpiece, Little Dancer Aged Fourteen, which may be viewed at the National Gallery of Art in Washington. The Gallery will mount a special exhibition of the statue beginning October 5 in conjunction with the musical.

According to The New York Times, three sources in the theater industry have confirmed that producers of the re-imagined production, currently playing The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts through July 13, are in talks to bring the show to Broadway - as early as this fall.

On The Town choreographer Joshua Bergasse choreographed a performance of the show's iconic opening number, 'New York, New York,' featuring the Top 20 finalists.

The producers of ON THE TOWN announced today that Megan Fairchild(New York City Ballet Principal Dancer), Alysha Umphress (American Idiot) and Elizabeth Stanley (Company) will join the critically-acclaimed Broadway revival of ON THE TOWN, directed by John Rando (Tony Award® for Urinetown) and choreographed by Joshua Bergasse (Emmy Award winner for 'Smash'). Fairchild, a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet, will make her Broadway debut playing 'Ivy Smith'. Umphress will play 'Hildy' and Stanley will play 'Claire', both reprising their performances from last summer's acclaimed Barrington Stage production.
