Owen Chaponda and Merryl Ansah Will Join THE LION KING in London This Spring

The award-winning West End production of Disney’s THE LION KING will welcome Owen Chaponda (Back to the Future; The Colour Purple) and Merryl Ansah (Heathers; Crazy for You), who will step into the iconic roles of ‘Simba’ and ‘Nala’, this spring.

The UK and Ireland Tour of Disney's The Lion King will welcome 12 new members to its cast of over 50 actors, singers and dancers this winter. The award winning landmark musical is currently playing a season at Manchester Palace until 11 March, where over 300,000 people will experience the show during the only North West dates.

The Watermill Theatre's 2018 Christmas Show is a new adaptation of ROBIN HOOD by acclaimed children's author Laura Dockrill with music by Hugo White, former member of the indie rock band The Maccabees. ROBIN HOOD is directed by Laura Keefe and runs at the theatre from 15 November to 5 January 2019.

Dennis of Penge borrows heavily and unapologetically from Euripides in the structure and form of Dennis. In the original, Pentheus is a person, but instead Pentheus is made into a system, and there is also a character called Neil Pratt, who is the antagonist.

Bend It Like Beckham The Musical recently extended booking at the Phoenix Theatre to 5 March 2016 when the show will then play its final performance at the end of the cast's year-long contract.  Rehearsals began for the critically acclaimed production in March 2015 with a company led by Natalie Dew as Jess and Lauren Samuels as Jules.  The Producers are currently finalising both national and international touring offers including a tour of India visiting multiple stadia.
