THE ILLUSIONISTS Add Matinee to DPAC Run

On the heels of a highly successful multi-city tour and run on Broadway, the world's best-selling touring magic show, THE ILLUSIONISTS - LIVE FROM BROADWAY, will play DPAC November 10 through 15 as part of a 45 city U.S. tour. An added 11 a.m. Saturday family matinee has been added to the run and is on sale Friday, October 16 at 10 a.m.

Jamie Hendry, the producer of IMPOSSIBLE, London's most dangerous magic and illusion show, has revealed that it has recouped its West End costs of £950,000 in just over one month, during its run at the Noel Coward Theatre. It has been several decades since a magic show of this scale has run in the West End, and bumper audiences over the busy summer period have driven the box office to even greater levels than had been anticipated. The London season will come to an end on Saturday 29th August, having played 41 performances.

Aaron Crow Joins West End's IMPOSSIBLE for Final Week of Performances

The producers of hit West End magic spectacular IMPOSSIBLE have announced that Aaron Crow, star of Britain's Got Talent, will join the show for the final week of its run on Monday 24th August. The hit magic show finishes its limited run at the Noel Coward Theatre on 29th August, before embarking on a worldwide tour.

World-class magicians and illusionists astonished audiences today at the launch of brand new West End show IMPOSSIBLE. The biggest magic show London has seen in decades is set to thrill audiences at London's Noel Coward Theatre this summer when it opens on 24th July. Spectators at the launch event were given taste of what's to come as the magicians performed a number of dumbfounding stunts, from Houdini's death-defying water tank escape with a 21st century twist to contemporary street magic.

Well known for his film and television appearances, James Earl Jones' acting career is firmly rooted in the theater. He was part of the historic company of Jean Genet's The Blacks, which incubated a generation of future black stars, and his long association with Joseph Papp's New York Shakespeare Festival saw him in classical plays including Hamlet, The Merchant of Venice and King Lear. Awards for his theater work include Tony Awards for the Broadway productions of The Great White Hope and Fences, a Tony Award nomination for On Golden Pond, and Obie Awards for Clandestine on the Morning Line, The Apple, Moon on a Rainbow Shawl and Baal, a Theatre World Award for Moon on a Rainbow Shawl and the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Fences. Additional theater credits include Paul Robeson, The Iceman Cometh,Of Mice and Men and seven different productions in the title role of Othello. He recently starred in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof on Broadway.
