Nominations for the 57th Annual Drama Desk Awards were announced at a news conference this morning by Drama Desk winners Donna Murphy and Brian d'Arcy James. The 57th Annual Drama Desk Awards took place tonight, Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 8:00 PM at The Town Hall in Manhattan.

Nominations for the 57th Annual Drama Desk Awards were announced at a news conference on April 27 by Drama Desk winners Donna Murphy and Brian d'Arcy James. After weeks of anticipation, the ceremony is tonight, June 3, at The Town Hall and BroadwayWorld will be bringing you the full spectrum of coverage, of course!

Nominations in 26 competitive categories for THE 66th ANNUAL TONY AWARDS® were announced today by Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Jim Parsons and Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress Kristin Chenoweth at the Tony Award Nominations Announcement.

Siobhan Dillon and Mark Evans, who lead the West End cast in the award-winning Ghost the Musical, have recently recorded their own cover version of Somebody That I Used To Know in celebration of Gotye and Kimbra's original. The original single has reached number one in the top forty charts and is currently number one in the Billboard album charts. Since its release on You Tube last Friday, Dillon and Evans' version has currently been seen by over 14,500 people. This track isn't for sale or to download, simply a bit of Ghost the Musical fun for fans of the song and musical to enjoy. Check out the video below!

The 2012 Tony Awards Nominations Announcement was co-hosted this morning by Tony winning actress Kristin Chenoweth and Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor Jim Parsons. The Tony Awards will be broadcast in a live three-hour ceremony from the Beacon Theatre, on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 10, 2012.

GHOST THE MUSICAL's Mark Evans and Siobhan Dillon have taken their on-stage partnership into the recording studio to bring a treat to GHOST's legion of fans in the form of Gotye's 'Somebody I Used to Know.'

Ghost the Musical, adapted from the Academy Award winning film, opened tonight, April 23, 2012. Let's see what the critics had to say!

Ghost The Musical opens April 23rd at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy are reprising their starring roles as Sam and Molly, which they originated in London's hit West End production. They are joined by newcomer Da'Vine Joy Randolph as Oda Mae Brown and Bryce Pinkham as Carl Bruner. THE KING'S SPEECH opened on the 22nd March at Wyndham's Theatre featuring Charles Edwards as King George VI, Jonathan Hyde as Lionel Logue, Emma Fielding as Queen Elizabeth, Ian McNeice as Winston Churchill, Michael Feast as Cosmo Lang, and Joss Ackland as King George V.

Last night, March 28th, Givenik.com partnered with the new Broadway show Ghost The Muscial for a special post-performance reception for audience and cast members at The Paramount Hotel (235 West 46th Street) to benefit Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), which funds innovative cancer research. As Ghost The Musical enters its second year, over 250,000 new tickets go on sale today (28 March 2012) taking bookings at the Piccadilly Theatre to 20 April 2013. Having been seen by over 400,000 people, Ghost The Musical is now also playing on Broadway, with further productions planned for Holland in September 2012, Australia and Germany in 2013 and Korea in 2014.
