Jenen, will present its popular annual open rehearsal series with MONDAY NIGHT MUCH ADO, featuring Tony Award winner Mandy Patinkin as Benedict in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing on Monday, December 7 and Monday, December 14, directed by Brian Kulick. Patinkin appeared last season at CSC in Shakespeare's The Tempest, directed by Kulick.

Diverse City Theater Company, Penguin Rep Theatre and Shotgun Productions will reveal the truth behind the Santa-gate scandal in SANTA CLAUS IS COMING OUT, a new comedy written by and starring Jeffrey Solomon, directed by acclaimed director Joe Brancato. Tonya Pinkins and Erika Rolfsrud officially open Washington D.C.'s Ford Theatre season tonight with Black Pearl Sings!, writen by Frank Higgins and directed by Jennifer L. Nelson. The show began previews on September 25 and will run through October 18, 2009.

The Ford's Theatre 2009-2010 season opens with 'Black Pearl Sings!' by Frank Higgins, September 25-October 18, 2009. Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins makes her Ford's Theatre debut in the title role with Erika Rolfsrud as Susannah. Jennifer L. Nelson returns to direct for the first time since her critically acclaimed production of 'Jitney.'

It's that time of year again, when the city officially turns into the NY intelligencia's playground. Yes, I am referring to the New Yorker Festival, which takes place over the October 16 - October 18 weekend. Among the highlights: panel discussions an Q & As with stage and screen stars Stanly Tucci, Christine Baranski and Tilda Swinton, among others.

Tony Winner Donna McKechnie and Klea Blackhurst will join Cady Huffman as performers in the 42nd Street Moon Salons, which will hold two performances on October 13th and January 28th. The October 13th performanace, entitled 'I Feel A Song Coming On!' is a salon of Dorothy Fields songs and is lead by Tony Winner Cady Huffman. The January 28th salon is a tribute to Ira Gershwin, led by McKechnie. Also joining the cast is Klea Blackhurst, as well as Bill Fahrner, Alexandra Kaprelian and Darlene Popovich.

Broadway star Cady Huffman will perform at San Francisco's Alcazar Theatre on Tuesday, October 13 in a one night only engagement. The performance will begin at 7pm.
