Broadway and Hollywood star David Hyde Pierce returns to the oeuvre of legendary composer John Kander with the new musical world premiere THE LANDING, co-starring Julia Murney, and dates are now set for the Kander collaboration with playwright/lyricist Greg Pierce at the Vineyard Theatre this Fall.

Theatre Artists Studio has a wide variety of programs for the 2012-2013 season, including a NEW offering: 'Maybe The Next GreatPlaywright Festival!' This program will feature works by Studio member playwrights presented as stage readings over two weekends.

Davis will succeed Amy Spanger as Roxie Hart beginning tomorrow, August 13, and continue performances through August 28. Woods will play Mama Morton from August 20-28, after Russian singer Larisa Dolina's Broadway debut in the role.

Producers Barry and Fran Weissler announced that the suave, debonair, award-winning actor and star of stage, TV & film will return to the road in the national tour of CHICAGO, reprising his role of Billy Flynn in select cities. The relaunch of the wildly successful national tour will kick off Sept. 3 in Portland, Oregon.

Kenny Howard says that this group inspired him 'not only with their talents but also with a maturity that is far beyond their years.' For this cabaret concert, the children tackle the adult repertoire of their heroes, taking on music from SPRING AWAKENING, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, THE LAST FIVE YEARS, AVENUE Q, [TITLE OF SHOW], and more.

The Production opened Friday night, July 26, and runs through tonight, July 28. The show is directed by Brooke Shields with Musical Direction by Rob Fisher. The show which opened July 27, is a valiant, admirable production that is genuinely entertaining and filled with terrific musical numbers---particularly those that showcase triple-threat phenom Barks, who proves herself to be the show's best, most legit asset. The show continues with two additional performances this weekend.
