Broadway and Hollywood star David Hyde Pierce returns to the oeuvre of legendary composer John Kander with the new musical world premiere THE LANDING, co-starring Julia Murney, and dates are now set for the Kander collaboration with playwright/lyricist Greg Pierce at the Vineyard Theatre this Fall.

Producers Barry and Fran Weissler announced that the suave, debonair, award-winning actor and star of stage, TV & film will return to the road in the national tour of CHICAGO, reprising his role of Billy Flynn in select cities. The relaunch of the wildly successful national tour will kick off Sept. 3 in Portland, Oregon.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (The Rep) presents the sensational musical Cabaret, with book by Joe Masteroff, music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and directed and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge. This classic American musical will be performed on the Browning Mainstage of the Loretto-Hilton Center for the Performing Arts, 130 Edgar Road (on the campus of Webster University), Webster Groves, September 11-October 6, 2013.

Theatre Now New York makes its debut appearance with Cabaret, Music by John Kander, Lyrics by Fred Ebb, book by Joe Masteroff, at the Pocketbook Factory, located at North 6th St. and Washington St. in Hudson, NY. It will be directed by Thomas Morrissey with choreography by Mikala Freitas and musical direction by Mary Sugar. The production opens tonight, August 2nd and runs through Sunday August 4th, and then continues Thursday August 8th through Sunday August 11th.

The Hollywood Bowl's production of the third longest running musical in Broadway history - CHICAGO - stars Samantha Barks as Velma, Drew Carey as Amos, Lucy Lawless as Mama Morton, Stephen Moyer as Billy Flynn, and AshLee Simpson as Roxie Hart. The Production opened Friday night, July 26, and runs through tonight, July 28. The show is directed by Brooke Shields with Musical Direction by Rob Fisher. The world-famous Hollywood Bowl's annual concert presentation of a Broadway musical is CHICAGO this year, directed by actress Brook Shields and features an all-star cast that includes Samantha Barks, Ashlee Simpson, Stephen Moyer, and Lucy Lawless. The show which opened July 27, is a valiant, admirable production that is genuinely entertaining and filled with terrific musical numbers---particularly those that showcase triple-threat phenom Barks, who proves herself to be the show's best, most legit asset. The show continues with two additional performances this weekend.
