A dazzling new production of the long-running Broadway revival CHICAGO directed and choreographed by Broadway veteran Gerry McIntyre opens Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston's 45th anniversary season tonight, June 13-23. Olney Theatre Center Artistic Director Jason Loewith announced the company would scrap its traditional subscription format while producing an ambitious slate of three seasons and nine productions for the Theatre's 2014 76th Anniversary Season. Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) has announced the complete cast and creative team for their upcoming Kander and Ebb review The World Goes 'Round as part of the 2013 Playhouse Productions Summer Season. Performances begin June 27th and run through July 21st at the Bucks County Playhouse (70 South Main Street, New Hope, PA).

I hardly know where to begin with this review of the Bohemian Theatre Ensemble's gutsy, stripped-down and yet somehow epic production of “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” the musical by John Kander, Fred Ebb and Terrence McNally that is running at Theatre Wit through June 30, 2013. There, I guess I just began. I'm a jumble of thoughts and feeling right now. Come to think of it, so are the three principal characters.
