Sirc Michaels Productions is holding open auditions on Monday 6/18 from 6-10pm and Tuesday 6/19 from 5-9pm for its production of THE AWESOME 80s PROM, which will open as a resident production this July. Men and women of various ages are needed.

Honda has today officially announced that actor Matthew Broderick, star of the 1980's classic film FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF, will reprise his movie role for a TV spot to air on this Sunday's Super Bowl.

Leeman (book) & Billy Butler (book, music & lyrics), Gay Bride of Frankenstein is a pop/rock, fairy tale musical that follows the exploits of four high school friends on one fateful Halloween night at a very unconventional Monsters Ball. Described as John Hughes meets Scooby-Doo, and asks the age old question: 'Will the girl get the girl?'

MCC Theater has announced the complete cast for the newly reworked and fully re-imagined production of Carrie, the musical. Carrie features music by Michael Gore, lyrics by Dean Pitchford (Academy Award winning composer and lyricist for the original film Fame) and a book by Lawrence D. Cohen (who also adapted the 1974 novel by Stephen King for the 1976 Brian DePalma film). Directed by Stafford Arima, performances for Carrie begin January 31, 2012, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC). The official opening night is set for March 1, 2012.
