Chicago's Eclipse Theatre Company, the only theatre company in the Midwest to focus on a single playwright each season, will feature the works of American playwright and poet Naomi Wallace in the 2011 Season.

Due to overwhelming demand, Signature Theatre Company (Founding Artistic Director James Houghton; Executive Director Erika Mallin) is pleased to announce a second extension for the first New York revival of Tony Kushner's ANGELS IN AMERICA: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, directed by Michael Greif. The production, originally slated to run through December 19, 2010 and extended once through January 30, 2011, will now play an additional three weeks through Sunday, February 20, 2011.

Artistic Director Robert Falls trades epic for minimalistic in his actor-centric revival of Anton Chekhov's classic The Seagull, with a cast that includes some of Chicago's most celebrated talent. The culmination of two years of meticulous research and preparation, this production of The Seagull marks a departure from Falls' recent large-scale work-and a focus on the method of Konstantin Stanislavsky, the man often credited as 'the father of modern theater.' An ensemble of 14 brings this 19th century masterpiece to life, including Francis Guinan, making his Goodman debut as the retired judge Sorin, and Mary Beth Fisher as his sister, Arkadina, a beautiful, selfish actress. For this revival, Falls has tapped an acclaimed, award-winning design team-Todd Rosenthal (Set), Ana Kuzmanic (Costumes), Keith Parham (Lighting) and Richard Woodbury (Sound). Goodman Theatre continues to celebrate its 10th season in Chicago's North Loop Theatre District with The Seagull, which runs October 16 - November 14, 2010 in the Owen Theatre; tickets are $10 - $45. The Vagabond Players, America's Oldest Little Theatre, announced the lineup for its 95th season. The shows are certainly not to miss and the theatre is one rich with history. Some of the shows include Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Death of a Salesman, and Six Degrees of Separation.

Randie Parliament, Artistic Producer of Ghost Light Projects, announced the company's line up of shows for the upcoming year. All three shows will be produced at Buddies In Bad Times - Tallulah's Cabaret.

Kerry Butler, Deidre Goodwin, James Patrick Stuart and Tom McGowan will star in the NYMF 2010's Production of Pandora's Box - A New Musical Play with Music and Lyrics by Glen Roven, Book by Maria S. Schlatter, and Directed by Gary Halvorson and Wayne Cilento. The show will run at Theater St. Clements (423 West 46th) with performances on October 8, 9, 11, 13, 14 and 16th.
