SecondStory Rep Announces Season 19 Mainstage and Theater for Young Audiences Series

On Saturday, April 22nd, and Sunday, April 23rd, 2017, St. Pete-based environmental nonprofit Chart 411 and the City of St. Petersburg are coming together for a St. Pete Earth Day Celebration featuring Creative Loafing in Historic Williams Park (350 2nd Ave. N. in St. Pete).

On Monday, April 24th, the Charles Mingus Institute and the Jazz Standard will join forces to celebrate the life and work of one of the most important figures in twentieth century American music: accomplished composer and bassist, Charles Mingus.

WSR is excited to bring the work of award-winning playwright George Brant to the stage with the Chicago Premiere of "Any Other Name." WSR's production of the dark comedy opens March 17, 2017 at Raue Center For The Arts and runs through April 2, 2017. WSR will then transfer the show to Chicago's Theater Wit, where "Any Other Name" will run from April 21, 2017 through April 30, 2017.

Williams Street Repertory is a non-profit theatre company now in its sixth season in residence at Raue Center For The Arts in downtown Crystal Lake, Ill. Over the past six years, WSR has built a reputation as one of Illinois' leading producing theatres and has become a unique and valuable asset to the McHenry County community.

WSR is excited to bring a 2015 LAB Series selection to the Mainstage with the Chicago Premiere of "Any Other Name." The result is a zany, door-slamming comedy about stressed-out parents, less-than-helpful siblings and interruptions galore from the mind of comedian Lewis Black. Will their daughter make it down the aisle or will the day end up a perfect disaster?
