NBC will pack more punch to its 'Knockout' rounds of 'The Voice' by airing two-hour original episodes on back-to-back nights on Monday, October 29 (8-10 p.m. ET) and Tuesday, October 30 (8-10 p.m. ET) for a total of four hours of 'Knockouts' that week.

The second night of the battle rounds on The Voice was just as intense as ever, though the talent did not seem quite as overpoweringly awesome as last night, but the singers definitely brought everything they had to this competition today.

On NBC's The Voice, tonight marked the start of the battle rounds! The last two weeks were the blind auditions in which singers auditioned, the coaches decided whether or not they wanted the singer, and the performers themselves chose which team they wanted to join. So now, it's almost a completely different show. Now it's about each artist competing against another awesome singer to stay on the show.

Today we are talking to a charismatic leading man who has made quite a mark on Broadway over the last few seasons, having participated in the original Broadways casts of Kander & Ebb's THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS (for which he received a Tony nomination for Best Actor), Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT (as Favorite Son) and, most recently, the rapturously-received revival of THE GERSHWINS' PORGY & BESS (as Jake), which won the 2012 Tony Award for Best Revival - the multi-talented Joshua Henry. Discussing the creation, casting, rehearsal and reception of each of the aforementioned musicals, as well as working with his collaborators on said projects - John Kander, Susan Stroman, Billie Joe Armstrong, Tom Kitt, Michael Mayer, Audra McDonald, Norm Lewis, Diane Paulus and more included - Henry illustrates the process of bringing the three wildly different entities to the stage and how he shaped his disparate characters within them. Additionally, Henry also discusses his role in the original production of Lin-Manuel Miranda's IN THE HEIGHTS and that Tony-winning Best Musical's inception and legacy. Plus, Henry expounds on his new self-composed family-friendly musical, AMIGO DUENDE, directed by Luis Salgado, which begins performances October 5 at El Musio Del Barrio and also shares the inspiration behind it. Tonight's episode of The Voice was slightly unusual because it was almost a recap in and of itself. The purpose of the show tonight was to refresh the audience on who the contestants were, what they sang, and of course on whose team they are now.

On NBC's THE VOICE the blind auditions came to a close and coaches Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton each filled up their teams of 16 artists for season three. On Tuesday, October 2 (8-9 p.m. ET), a special "Best of the Blind Auditions" airs featuring never before seen footage of the coaches and each team.

Reprise Records' Green Day have announced that they will be joined by Best Coast as support for their upcoming arena dates next January and February as part of their ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRÉ! TOUR. Best Coast will join Green Day beginning on January 8th in Rosemont, IL at the Allstate Arena and open all dates following, wrapping up on February 8th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Green Day ¡Uno!, the first album in Green Day's album trilogy Green Day ¡Uno!, Green Day ¡Dos!, and Green Day ¡Tré!, hits stores today via Reprise Records. Green Day ¡Uno! will be followed by Green Day ¡Dos! on November 13, 2012, and Green Day ¡Tré! on January 15, 2013. Earlier this week Green Day announced the first leg of their ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRÉ! TOUR. The full-scale North American tour will kick off in intimate venues this November and December, starting on November 26th in Seattle, WA at the Paramount Theatre and wrapping up on December 10th in Tempe, AZ at the Marquee Theater. In January, the band will bring the ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRÉ! TOUR to arenas around the country, starting on January 7th at the Resch Arena in Green Bay, WI and wrapping up on February 8th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
