LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM - Internationally acclaimed collector and curator, Raj Prem, and London-based photography mecca, Proud Galleries, announced a new show featuring images of The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and The Rolling Stones which is set to open next week. Indian Ranch in Webster, MA announced new shows to its summer concert series. Buddy Guy will perform at the lakeside concert venue on Sunday, August 23 at 2:00 P.M. and Eli Young Band will perform on Saturday, September 19 at 2:00 P.M. In addition, Indian Ranch will host Bret Michaels in concert on Sunday, May 31 at 1:30 P.M. to benefit The Barton Center For Diabetes Education. Def Leppard's Phil Collen Releases DELTA DEEP

Phil Collen, lead guitarist of Def Leppard, announces the formation and release of his new blues based music project, DELTA DEEP, coming this summer. Collen recorded the mix of original and hand-picked cover tracks with fellow DELTA DEEP bandmates Debbi Blackwell-Cook (back-up vocalist for such artists as Michael Buble & Luther Vandross), Forrest Robinson (drummer for India.Arie, Joe Sample & The Crusaders, TLC), and Robert DeLeo (bassist for Stone Temple Pilots). Their self-titled debut album will be released on June 23, 2015 on Mailboat Records and also features special guest appearances by Def Leppard vocalists Joe Elliott, Whitesnake's David Coverdale, Sex Pistols/MANRAZE drummer Paul Cook, and GIRL/MANRAZE bassist, Simon Laffy.
Opera Parallèle Announces Schedule for 2015-2016 Season

San Francisco, CA, April 9, 2015 – Opera Parallèle has announced its 2015--2016 season, which will feature its first collaboration with SFJAZZ, a new production of Peter Maxwell Davies' riveting and mysterious The Lighthouse, and the world premiere of a new children's opera by Chris Pratorius. Opera Parallèle and SFJAZZ will present their first collaboration: a new, fully staged production of Champion: An Opera in Jazz by Terence Blanchard, SFJAZZ Resident Artistic Director, with eight performances to be given February 19-28, 2016 at SFJAZZ Center. Based on the life of African-American boxing champion Emile Griffith (1938-2013), the production marks both Opera Parallèle's first foray into an operatic jazz idiom and SFJAZZ's first opera. Peter Maxwell Davies' three-character opera, The Lighthouse, based on the mysterious and unsolved disappearance of three people off the Scottish coast in 1900 will be given a new production April 29-May 1, 2016 at Z Space in San Francisco. ABE JACOB, one of Broadway's most prominent and influential designers, will take audience members behind the scenes as he discusses his illustrious career and reflects on the many Broadway, concerts and other productions he has been involved in. Jacob will also describe the evolution of sound design (which he created with the original Broadway production of HAIR), how he designs live productions and more. The lecture tonight, April 7 at 6:30 PM is being hosted by the General Society of Mechanics & Tradesmen of the City of New York and will be held at the General Society Library, 20 West 44th Street. Les Paul Foundation to Celebrate 100th Birthday of Namesake This Summer

The Les Paul Foundation has announced the official “100th Birthday of Les Paul,” a year-long celebration to launch the famous inventor and musician's 100th birthday - June 9th, 2015. The celebration, which will last through May of 2016, will include exciting programs beginning with the star-studded June 9th event in New York's Times Square. Fans of Les Paul will have the opportunity to rub elbows with some of the most famous names in music at the official kick-off event. Music legends including Steve Miller, Joan Jett, Journey's Neal Schon, guitar virtuoso Johnny A, Chickenfoot's Joe Satriani, Count's 77 and others will appear at the event.
