MTC MainStage Will Bring SYLVIA, a Modern Romantic Comedy About a Marriage and a Dog, To Fairfield County

Music Theatre of Connecticut MainStage, Fairfield County's professional award-winning theatre company currently in its 33rd Season, will start the new year off with Sylvia, by A.R. Gurney. Sylvia is a smart, playful, and occasionally gritty comedy about two 'empty-nesters' who meet a dog that quickly becomes a bone of contention between them and tests their marriage to a hilarious and touching degree. Sylvia will run February 7th-23rd with performances on Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 4pm and 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.

Music Theatre of Connecticut MainStage, Fairfield County's professional award-winning theatre company, concludes its 32nd Season with Cabaret, written by Joe Masteroff with music by John Kander and Lyrics by Fred Ebb. Cabaret takes place from 1929-1930, a time when Berlin is transitioning from a center of underground, avant-garde cultural epicenter to the beginnings of Hitler's totalitarian regime and the rise of the Nazi Party. Cabaret will run from March 29th until April 14th- Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 4pm and 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.

Always...Patsy Cline is a tribute to the legendary country singer who died tragically at age 30 in a plane crash in 1963. Always... Music Theatre of Connecticut, Fairfield County's professional award-winning theatre company, celebrates their 30th anniversary with a one night only evening of food, drink and entertainment. The 30th Anniversary Celebration is set for Saturday, October 15, with food and drink at 6:30pm, followed by a performance in MTC's cozy 110-seat theatre. Tickets are extremely limited and proceeds benefit MTC and its programming.
