The imaginative, playful, and creative film and television work of Jim Henson will be celebrated every month by Museum of the Moving Image in the screening series Jim Henson's World, often featuring personal appearances by Henson's colleagues. Over the holidays, these screenings—a Rowlf retrospective over Thanksgiving and daily showings of Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas over Christmas—will also be complemented by family workshops focused on puppetry.

Join Buddy, Tiny, Shiny, Don and all of their friends and family in this upbeat interactive, multi-media live trip back to the Mesozoic. Jim Henson's Dinosaur Train Live! Buddy's Big Adventure makes a stop for two performances at the Fox Theatre today, November 22 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Due to popular demand, NYU Skirball Center is adding one additional performance of Jim Henson's Dinosaur Train - Live! Buddy's Big Adventure on November 29 at 11am. A total of six performance will take place November 29-December 1 at 11am and 2pm at the NYU Skirball Center (566 LaGuardia Place), as part of the venue's 2013-14 Big Red Chair Family Series.

59E59 Theaters will welcome Squonk with the NYC premiere of MAYHEM AND MAJESTY, created by Jackie Dempsey and Steve O'Hearn with Squonk. MAYHEM AND MAJESTY begins performances on Tuesday, December 10 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 29. Press opening is Wednesday, December 18 at 7 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7 PM; Friday at 8 PM; Saturday at 2 PM and 8 PM; and Sunday at 3 PM and 7 PM. There is no performance on December 25. La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts presents the third show in its 2013-14 Programs for Young Audiences series, The Gizmo Guys. This 60-minute fast-paced, comedic, and world-class juggling act is recommended for audiences ages 4 and up. Performances are Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Performing as The Gizmo Guys, Allan Jacobs and Barrett Felker have amazed and amused audiences around the world. Their rapid-fire act includes original routines, quick-witted verbal repartee and world class juggling skills in a very light-hearted approach to the art, which exhilarates and inspires sidesplitting laughter in audience members of all ages. Touring worldwide since 1987, The Gizmo Guys have appeared before well over a million people in more than 2500 live performances. They have performed for millions more on television. In addition to touring extensively in the U.S. and Canada, The Gizmo Guys have strutted their stuff in places as diverse as Saudi Arabia and Japan and have taught juggling at the renowned French and Canadian National Circus Schools.

Presenters La MaMa and St. Ann's Warehouse, and producers piece by piece productions, Mabou Mines and Dovetail Productions-all ardent and longtime supporters of the "bad boy of avant-garde theater" (Village Voice) Lee Breuer-unite for the World Premiere of Breuer's epic magnum opus, La Divina Caricatura. Breuer wrote and directs the work, a mixed-media pop-opera with Bunraku puppets, a cast of singers and live music composed by Lincoln Schleifer that ranges from Motown to Broadway and reggae to raga. La Divina Caricatura, a metaphorical send-up of Dante's classic, concerns Rose the Dog, who makes a pilgrimage through love to Paradiso. Rose thinks she's a woman and fantasizes a mad love affair with her master John, an East Village independent filmmaker. The show, Part 1 of a trilogy, draws on material that stretches all the way back to Breuer's doo-wop opera Sister Suzie Cinema (1975).

Ms Trigiani is an award-winning playwright, television writer, and documentary filmmaker. Among her many television credits, Adriana was a writer/producer on The Cosby Show, A Different World, and executive producer/head writer for City Kids for Jim Henson Productions. Her Lifetime television special, Growing up Funny, garnered an Emmy nomination for Lily Tomlin.

As part of its 2013-2014 producing season, HERE presents The Pigeoning, by Robin Frohardt. A HERE Artist Residency Program (HARP) and Dream Music Puppetry Program presentation, The Pigeoning plays December 3 - 22 in the Dorothy B. Williams Theatre at HERE (145 Sixth Avenue, just below Spring Street). Official Opening Night is Wednesday, December 4 at 7:00pm.

Sprout, the first 24-hour preschool network, today introduced “Dial Darryl,” a new recurring segment on The Sunny Side Up Show, created specifically for Sprout Host Hunt winner Darryl Williams.

Syfy has signed Gigi Edgley (Farscape) to host Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge, a new competition series set in the imaginative and visually stunning world of original creature creation. Beth Hathaway and Kirk Thatcher are also inked to serve on the judging panel, alongside headline and lead judge Brian Henson.

Jim Henson's Dinosaur Train Live: Buddy's Big Adventure, embraces and celebrates the fascination that preschoolers have with both dinosaurs and trains. It will bring the beloved stars of the hit PBS series to Huntsville for the first time.
