As BWW reported earlier this evening, comedian and Academy Award-winning actor Robin Williams died this morning, August 11, 2014, of an apparent suicide. He was 63. A slew of stars took to Twitter following the announcement to express their gratitude to the performer and wish him well. It appears that the powers that be may be looking to well-known TV stars, including 'Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons and 'Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

Megan Hilty, was a breakout star of NBC's "Smash" and starred on Broadway in "Wicked" and "9 to 5: The Musical." She most recently starred as Liz on NBC's "Sean Saves The World" with Sean Hayes of "Will & Grace" fame. It seems that Jesse Tyler Ferguson hopes to be a movie musical star in the near future. The Broadway vet and Modern Family star recently posted a video of his PETER PAN, LIVE! audition, via Instagram.

Trying, the award-winning play inspired by the real-life experiences of playwright Joanna McClelland Glass as personal secretary to Biddle during the last year of his life, opens at International City Theatre on Aug. 22, directed by John Henry Davis and starring Tony Abatemarco and Paige Lindsey White.

The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations Announcement were announced this morning at the Television Academy's Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood's NoHo Arts District.

Cheyenne Jackson has starred on both 30 Rock opposite Tina Fey and Glee where he played the voice coach for the group Vocal Adrenaline, and will next be seen starring opposite Gena Rowlands in the feature film 'Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks' releasing in theaters in early 2014.
