Following an acclaimed tryout at Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, An American in Paris is currently in rehearsals for its upcoming Broadway run at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street). Previews begin Friday, March 13, 2015 for a Sunday, April 12, 2015 opening night. The cast just met the press, and you can check out photos from the special day below!

The Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street) box office opens today Friday, February 6 for tickets to An American In Paris. Following an acclaimed tryout at Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, An American In Paris begins final rehearsals for Broadway on Monday, February 9. Previews begin Friday, March 13, 2015 for a Sunday, April 12, 2015 opening night.

Inspired by the Academy-Award winning film, An American in Paris brings this classic tale to Broadway for the first time with music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by Tony and Pulitzer Prize nominee Craig Lucas. Prior to Broadway, An American in Paris will premiere at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris where previews begin November 22, 2014 for a December 10, 2014 opening night. At that time, it was announced as well that the should would be announcing new stars and the production would be continuing its run. Now, they have revealed that the show will play its final performance on Saturday, January 26, 2013, after 26 previews and 337 regular performances.

This record-breaking, Tony-nominated production of Tim Rice's and Andrew Lloyd Webber's landmark musical will continue its open-ended run following the original stars' departure. The new stars will be announced at a later date.

EVITA has just cancelled its 2 p.m. performance for tomorrow, Wednesday, October 31, due to Hurricane Sandy.

The first new Broadway production of Tim Rice's and Andrew Lloyd Webber's landmark musical EVITA since its premiere over 30 years ago stars Grammy-winning international pop icon Ricky Martin as Che, Olivier Award-winning Argentinean actress Elena Roger making her Broadway debut as Eva Peron and Tony Award-winner Michael Cerveris as Juan Peron. This morning, Martin appeared on 'LIVE! with Kelly & Michael.'
