Notable graduates from Baldwin Wallace University will band together on August 26 to honor the life of fellow grad Kyle Jean-Baptiste, the Les Miserables cast member who tragically passed away in 2015. Jean-Baptiste was the youngest, and the first African-American actor, to play the leading role of a?oeJean Valjeana?? on Broadway. The Kyle Jean-Baptiste Foundation, which was founded in 2016 in his name, supports and provides opportunities of enrichment and learning to empower youth, families, and communities through the Arts.

On October 31, Cadavaret- Broadway's Halloween Cabaret, will be hosted by Lance Roberts (Broadway's Ghost, Sister Act, Jafar in Disney's Aladdin and The King of Cartoons in The Pee Wee Herman Show on Broadway). Ka'davaret features some of Broadway's finest performers singing some devilish ditties from musicals with a "darker" theme, including Sweeney Todd, Little Shop of Horrors, Wicked, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Damn Yankees, Phantom of the Opera and more.
