The Advanced Imaging Society announced today that Marvel Studios' Executive Producer Victoria Alonso will receive the Society's 2016 Harold Lloyd Award for filmmaking at the Society's annual Creative Arts Award Show held on January 28th at Warner Bros. Studios.

The pre-Broadway World Premiere of Gotta Dance officially opened in Chicago on December 28, and will play thru January 17, 2016, at Broadway In Chicago's Bank of America Theatre (18 W Monroe St, Chicago), before opening on Broadway in the Fall of 2016. The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts announces a new partnership with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and DreamWorks Studios to present the highly successful annual program, The ASCAP Foundation Musical Theatre Workshop. Now in its 23rd year under the leadership of Artistic Director Stephen Schwartz, the workshop -- giving selected composers and lyricists the opportunity to present selections from original musical works in progress for professional critique -- will take place at The Wallis in Beverly Hills from Feb. 16-18, 2016, with submissions now being accepted. The application deadline is Dec. 16, 2015. 

DreamWorks Animation (DWA) today announced that Maggie Wilderotter has joined its Board of Directors. Mrs. Wilderotter is Executive Chairman of Frontier Communications, a post she has held since April 2015, having previously served as that company's Chairman and CEO from 2006 to 2015.
