COLCOA French Film Festival to Honor Melanie Laurent + Announces the COLCOA Classics Line-Up

Today the Franco-American Cultural Fund have announced that Mélanie Laurent will be honored as their “Focus on a Filmmaker” at the COLCOA French Film Festival.  Additionally, they have announced the five films that comprise the “COLCOA Classic Series.” These selections will be presented as part of COLCOA's 22nd edition, which will run Monday, April 23 through Monday, April 30, with all screenings taking place at the Directors Guild of America.   All films in the COLCOA Classics are free to the public. The complete line-up including films and series competing for the COLCOA Awards 2018 will be announced on April 3rd.

Musical Theatre Network and Mercury Musical Developments today announce the programme selected from their pitching days held around the UK between September and November for BEAM2018. Fifty-eight of the new British musicals pitched at these days have been selected to be shared at the biennial industry showcase which will next year be held at Theatre Royal Stratford East on 1 and 2 March. BEAM is designed for anyone in a position to help develop and stage new British musicals to attend, bringing the most exciting musical theatre projects together from around the UK for industry professionals to grab the opportunity to become involved from the early stages of development.

The national tour of MARVEL UNIVERSE LIVE! AGE OF HEROES lands in Southern California beginning July 7 at STAPLES Center. Enhancing the tale of the Super Heroes' recovery of the Wand of Watoomb from the clutches of Loki and his crew of fellow villains will be massive video projections, advanced special effects, and stunts from aerialists, acrobats and motorcycle riders.
