Dame Helen Mirren presented the Tony Award for the Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play. The winner was Denzel Washington for his role in Fences.

The New York Times will offer a live streaming Webcast of the June 14 TimesTalks event featuring Helen Mirren and Taylor Hackford and moderated by Times critic Janet Maslin, Ms. Mirren the Oscar and Emmy-winning star, and Mr. Hackford, her husband, and an Oscar-winning director, will discuss their new film 'Love Ranch,' based on the story of the couple who opened Las Vegas's first legal brothel.

Yesterday, June 9, the Empire State Building hosted a reception in honor of the 2010 Tony nominees on the famed rooftop observatory. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the photo op and to take in the view.
