The press performance will be Sunday, November 20 at 7 p.m. Find the true meaning of Christmas in this wonderful holiday musical about a right jolly old elf, a less jolly single woman and an old wish finally coming true. Another Night Before Christmas is a delight for the whole family. This witty and tuneful holiday favorite, Directed by William Pullinsi, is sure to win laughs from anyone who's ever lost - or found - the holiday spirit. Chicagoland favorite Hollis Resnik stars as Karol Elliot with Don Forston starring as The Guy (who may have a prestigious job at the North Pole).

MCC Theater has announced the complete cast for the newly reworked and fully re-imagined production of Carrie, the musical. Carrie features music by Michael Gore, lyrics by Dean Pitchford (Academy Award winning composer and lyricist for the original film Fame) and a book by Lawrence D. Cohen (who also adapted the 1974 novel by Stephen King for the 1976 Brian DePalma film). Directed by Stafford Arima, performances for Carrie begin January 31, 2012, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC). The official opening night is set for March 1, 2012.

The New Ohio Theatre presented an industry reading of the new play Schooled, written by Lisa Lewis and directed by Oliver Butler, starring Peter Friedman, Phoebe Strole, James Kautz and Mara Davi, with dramaturgy by Matthew Schneider.

Magic is in the making as rehearsals begin for Goodman Theatre's A Christmas Carol, 'a joyous present for the entire family' (Chicago Sun-Times) and 'ideal family fare, both heartwarming and spectacular in its familiar tale' (Chicago Tribune). Goodman Theatre Associate Producer Steve Scott Steve Scott, who last directed A Christmas Carol in 1992, returns to helm the 34thannual production featuring 13 new cast members, brand new special effects, additional music and choreography. Acclaimed Chicago actor Larry Yando Larry Yando revives his 'stellar!' (Chicago Tribune) performance of Ebenezer Scrooge, his fourth turn since 2007. A Christmas Carol runs November 18 - December 31, 2011 in the Goodman's Albert Theatre. Asolo Repertory Theatre is set to present My Fair Lady as Asolo Rep's 53rd season opener. The performance runs in the Mertz Theatre from November 18, 2011 through December 23, 2011.
