Award-winning Mosaic Theatre is excited to announce that Ariel Dorfman's Olivier Award Winning play and recent London hit, Death and the Maiden, will make its Regional Premiere and replace Conor McPherson's The Birds as the third show of the company's 2011-2012 season.

The Paley Center for Media and WNET will bring legendary voices and footage to New York metro area public television viewers in the second season of the interview series At the Paley Center premiering 8:30 p.m. on THIRTEEN beginning January 19th, Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. on WLIW21 beginning on January 24 and Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. on NJTV beginning on January 24.

FREUD'S LAST SESSION, the runaway hit play by Mark St. Germain now in its second successful year in New York, is coming "for a session" at the Mercury Theater (3745 N. Southport, Chicago), making its Midwest Premiere previewing March 21, opening March 28 with tickets on sale through June 3. FREUD'S LAST SESSION won the 2011 Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best Play.

In celebration of THE SIMPSONS' historic 500th episode milestone, FOX invites fans of the iconic animated series to participate in THE SIMPSONS Ultimate Fan Marathon Challenge at Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles. Beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 8, fans will come together to watch up to 500 continuous episodes of THE SIMPSONS in an attempt to break the current Guinness World Record of 86 hours, 6 minutes and 41 seconds for the longest continuous television viewing.
Ringwald Theatre Begins The Wendy Chronicles this Month

The Ringwald Theatre will pay special tribute to Pulitzer prize-winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein with The Wendy Chronicles, a series of staged readings of her best known plays. Beginning in January and continuing through the coming months, four of her plays will be presented as a way of examining the arc of her career and the special impact she had on the theatre community. Wasserstein, whose works portrayed the challenging and complex lives of contemporary women, died on Jan. 30, 2006 of lymphoma.

Artists, friends and peers of this year's five Kennedy Center honorees converged in Washington, D.C., on December 4 to present entertaining and heartfelt tributes at the 34th Annual Kennedy Center Honors, an entertainment special to be broadcast which was broadcast on CBS Tuesday night, December 27. For the ninth consecutive year, Caroline Kennedy served as host.
