Shannon to Lead Wright's MISTAKES WERE MADE at Barrow Street; Opens 11/14

Producers Scott Morfee, Jean Doumanian and Tom Wirtshafter, who presented the critically acclaimed landmark production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town, will next present the New York premiere of the new comedy, Mistakes Were Made, by Craig Wright with direction by Dexter Bullard. The two-character play features Academy Award-nominee Michael Shannon as producer Felix Artifex and Mierka Girten as his assistant Esther, and reunites the creative team of the Off-Broadway smash hit Bug (Bullard, Shannon and Barrow Street). The 16- week limited engagement will begin performances Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Barrow Street Theatre. Opening night is set for Sunday evening, November 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

Icon Entertainment International has begun to sell international distribution rights for Ralph Fiennes' 'Coriolanus,' according to a report by Deadline.com. First buyers include Spain and the BBC for UK television. The BBC is a co-producer of the picture, which stars Tony Award-winner Vanessa Redgrave along with Fiennes as Coriolanus, Gerard Butler as Afidius, and Emmy Award-winner Brian Cox as Menenius.

TEEN CHOICE 2010 will celebrate the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion in the choicest, star-studded two-hour event airing Monday, Aug. 9 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. 'Iron Man 2' and 'Gossip Girl' lead the TEEN CHOICE 2010 nominees with six nominations each, while GLEE and 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' each garnered five nominations.

Broadway veteren Hugh Jackman is set to appear alongside Kate Winslet in a new movie by the Farrelly brothers. In the film, Jackman wil play an unfortunate man whose testicals are attached to his chin. Winslet, his date for the night, is the only person who seems to notice this oddity.
