"Say You'll Be Mine," the debut album from New York teenage singer/songwriter Ali Isabella is available worldwide today (Tuesday, February 21, 2012) on iTunes and Amazon.com, it was announced by Marc Jacobson and John Velasco, principals of Ali's US management company, Direction By Appointment, Inc. A limited edition of the physical CD will be available only at Wembley on February 26 and will be given wider distribution at a future date

Musical geniuses Gordon Lightfoot, Bob Seger, Don Schlitz, Harvey Schmidt & Tom Jones and Jim Steinman will become the newest members of the Songwriters Hall of Fame at the organization's 43rd Annual Induction and Awards Dinner. StudentsLive, the Premier Broadway Education Company, has annouced its first-ever multilingual international and domestic "Passport to Broadway" Program for students from July 23, 2012 to August 3, 2012 at Pearl Studios and Manhattan Movement and Arts Center (MMAC). The musical theatre intensive final performance takes place over 10 days from approximately 8:30am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, at Pearl Studios led by Broadway Musical Directors, Choreographers and Interactive Intensives with Broadway Performers and Guest Artists.

The 2012-2013 Mirvish Production season announcement took place this morning, and features the World Premiere of Jason Robert Brown's Honeymoon in Vegas, an all-Canadian cast for Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's The Wizard of Oz and the smash-hit Book of Mormon. The critically acclaimed production of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES starring George Hamilton and Christopher Sieber, arrives in St. Louis, MO at the Fabulous Fox Theatre for 16 performances January 3-15, 2012!

I remember back in the early 80's when the film adaptation of the original French play, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, was a cable staple. It's a wonderful little movie well worth your time, and it spawned a sequel, the American remake, The Birdcage, and a cheeky, charming little musical with a book by Harvey Fierstein and a funny and touching score by the legendary Jerry Herman. The production that's currently playing the Fox Theatre is a wonderfully executed and staged version that's a sheer delight. It's filled with terrific performances, and guaranteed to entertain.
