Theater for the New City has announced that due to popular demand they will be presenting Tony nominated theatre luminary Austin Pendleton's adaptation of Richard III, Shakespeare's greatest villain, WARS OF THE ROSES: HENRY VI & RICHARD III for three nights only December 3rd, 4th and 5th.

Celebrated press agent and author, Susan L. Schulman, drops by the studio to sit and gab with me about the updated edition of her memoir BACKSTAGE PASS TO BROADWAY.

The Ojai Film Festival and Women In Film (WIF) will present a Legacy Series event with acclaimed actress Eva Marie Saint on Friday, November 9 at the Ojai Art Center. The intimate filmed interview produced by WIF's Ilene Kahn Power and Dorothea Petrie, directed by Petra Haffter, and edited by David Flores and Zachary Weintraub, is a 40-minute retrospective of the Academy, and Emmy award-winning star's career in film, television and stage. The event begins at 4 pm with the screening, followed by Q&A with Ms. Saint. A reception will follow.

The play combines texts from William Shakespeare's Henry VI Part 3 and Richard III, to create a version, which has never been seen before. Produced by Ruth Stage, the production stars Pendleton as Henry VI and Matt de Rogatis as Richard III, while giving a fascinating take on one of history's most notorious villains. The opening is set for Saturday, August 4th at 7PM. WARS OF THE ROSES: HENRY VI & RICHARD III will play a limited engagement through August 19th. Goodreads Press has published the second edition of Susan L. Schulman's popular memoir, BACKSTAGE PASS TO BROADWAY.  Sub-titled 'MORE True Tales of a Theatre Press Agent,' the second edition includes several new chapters, expanded stories and additional never-before-seen photos from the author's personal collection.

Christine Lahti is headed to New York to star as Gloria Steinem in the world premiere of Gloria: A Life, a new play about Ms. Steinem as a symbol of past, present and future change. The play, written by Tony Award-nominee Emily Mann (Having Our Say), is directed by the visionary Tony Award-winning Diane Paulus (Waitress, Pippin).

On Day 17 of 30 Days of Tony, we celebrate a Tony-winning veteran of stage and screen who is nominated once again this year for his portrayal of Roy Cohn in the Broadway revival of Angels In America, Nathan Lane. 

Nathan Lane, currently starring in Angels in America, appeared on last night's Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He shared his take on the Met Gala theme, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination. He also talked about channeling 'the worst human being,' Roy Cohn, in his Tony-nominated Broadway play Angels in America and how he's inadvertently paying Stormy Daniels' hush money.

BroadwayWorld has teamed up with Broadway alum Ilana Levine, who makes her entrance onto the podcast stage with her new show Little Known Facts. Ilana's unique brand of celebrity interview, 'Podcast Verite,' is unfiltered, raw, honest and uniquely funny.

Nathan Lane recently appeared on THE VIEW, where he discussed the amount of research he put into his Angels in America character, Roy Cohn, and Donald Trump of course. 

WAITRESS, the Tony Award-nominated musical making its Washington, D.C. premiere at the National Theatre from May 15 thru June 3, 2018, is looking for two young girls to perform the role of Lulu during the national tour's D.C. engagement.

Perhaps Simon's best work, this three-act masterpiece is a portrait of three couples successively occupying Suite 719 at the Plaza Hotel: a suburban couple from Mamaroneck, a Hollywood producer and his old flame, and a couple from Forest Hills on their daughter's wedding day. Plaza Suite shows Simon's wit and comic genius at their very best.

American Indian Artists Inc. (AMERINDA) will present the World Premiere of MANGLED BEAMS by Dawn Jamieson. Directed by Christen Omantra Callahan, previews begin on April 13 at the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre at The A.R.T./New York Theatres. Opening night is slated for Thursday, April 19.
